Curio terms of use

Last updated: 7 October 2026

These terms are the rules for using Curio: the Curio app and the Curio service behind it, which also runs the Curio web app at https://curio-resource-hub.pages.dev. By creating an account, signing in or using Curio, you agree to them. How Curio handles your information is described in the privacy policy, https://curio-66f0b.web.app/privacy

Curio is made by Hesperia Labs Mobile, the mobile app brand of SDD SL. For any question about these terms, write to info@hesperialabs.com.

Your account

What you save and publish

Your links, notes, collections and profile are yours. You keep every right you have in them.

Your library and notes are private. A collection becomes public only when you make it public, and your profile page is public. Anyone with the link can open a public collection, follow it or import a copy of it, and its links, titles, descriptions, tags and preview images show on its page and in its RSS feed. To run Curio, SDD SL needs your permission to store what you save, and to show your public collections and profile to others for as long as they are public. You give that permission by using Curio. It ends when you make a collection private, delete it, or delete your account. Copies other people imported before then stay theirs.

You are responsible for what you publish. Only publish what you have the right to share.

What is not allowed

Don't use Curio, including your profile and your public collections, their names, descriptions, tags and links, to publish, link to or promote:

Also don't impersonate others, interfere with Curio or its servers, get around its limits, or collect other people's information from it.

Reporting and blocking

If you find a public collection or profile that breaks these terms, report it. In the app, open it and choose ⋮ → Report; your mail app opens with the report to send. You can also write to info@hesperialabs.com with the page's link. We review every report and act on it as quickly as we can.

You can also block the person who published it: ⋮ → Block. Their profile and public collections then stop showing in the app on that phone, and you stop following their collections. They are not told. You can unblock them in Me → Privacy → Blocked people.

When something breaks these terms, we may remove it, make a collection private, or suspend or delete the account that published it, depending on how serious it is. Where we can, we tell the account's owner why.

Links and suggestions

Curio stores links to other people's websites. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for what they show. The titles, tags and descriptions Curio suggests are written by an AI model from the page's own text. They can be wrong, so check them before you rely on them or publish them.

The service

Curio is provided as it is, and it can change. We may add, change or remove features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. Keep your own copy of anything important: Me → Export as JSON downloads your whole library and notes.

As far as the law allows, SDD SL is not liable for indirect losses or for losing what you saved. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country, or liability that can't be limited by law.

Ending

You can stop using Curio at any time, and delete your account in the app with Me → Delete account, or as described at https://curio-66f0b.web.app/delete-account

We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version will be published at this address with a new date. If a change is significant, the app will mention it too. Using Curio after that means you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you live in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live.
